The antics and attitudes of those employed here are repelling visitors, thereby choking out those with shops/businesses that they allegedly serve. Way to go, I'm even wary o. Going to any of next summers bike nights.

So, two stars. One for existing, one for the other great people that made Romeo a nice place to grow up.

I don't live in Romeo anymore, but I grew up, went to high school, and worked in the community when I was 16-19 years old.

I love all the officers here. When my car stalled out and I needed help pushing it, I knew I could go right there and someone would be willing to come out. Fantastic people here that care about the community.

I remember the day I was arrested for skateboarding in town.

shame on you Romeo PD! no respect for the community.

I remember being pulled over and accused of stealing the car my parents bought me.

I remember Officer Blevins generally being an unpleasant person.

I imagine things have improved since then, but wouldn't be surprised if they haven't. I would give more stars if it weren't for Officer Blevins to be honest. Everyone else was really polite and professional. I hated washing her car, I hated talking to her, and I especially hated when she came to a skateboard contest in town to promote skateboarding in the youth community. Only a month or so after I was thrown in her car and taken into the station. I spit on the building every time I visit and I can't believe they made a 16 year old pay $100 to get their skateboard back, even after charges were dropped.

Romeo pd is a joke. They are out of shape and lazy and will talk down on you. If you live in the village call the sheriff for police instead of these guys.
